Established in 1924, Medical Associates Clinic is Iowa’s oldest multispecialty group practice, serving the Tri-State area with over 190 providers and a staff exceeding 1,000 healthcare professionals. The Acute Care Center, situated at 1000 Langworthy Street, Dubuque, IA 52001, offers walk-in services for non-life-threatening conditions, providing an alternative to emergency room visits. ​

The Acute Care Center provides services for:​

• Annual exams and sports physicals​

• General lab tests and screenings​

• Diagnosis and treatment of routine conditions like colds, flu, infections, rashes, allergies, and strep throat. ​
